Spa experience

Enjoy 1 hour 45 minutes access to the Wild Spa, featuring our warm outdoor showers, cedar barrel sauna, ice bucket showers and cedar barrel hot tub. You’ll also receive complimentary herbal tea during your session.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked time slot as you will need that time to check-in and get changed.

From Haverfordwest, take the B4329 towards Cardigan. Keep on that road for approximately four miles. Continue past Scolton Manor and take the next left, signposted Scolton Country Cottages & Scolton Country Spa and Wild Spa. When the road forks, stay right, signposted ‘Leisure Club’. Follow the lane down to the car park and the Wild Spa is located on the right. If the gate is closed, please make your way to the main spa reception and you will be greeted there and shown to the Wild Spa.

Arrival time

The time in the Wild Spa begins at the start time of your booking. To ensure your spa experience or treatment takes place on time, you receive full benefits of the spa and avoid congestion at the changing rooms, please arrive 15 minutes before your booked time. Your time slot allows 15 minutes at the end of your experience for changing. If you arrive late, we will only be able to offer the remaining spa/treatment time. No refunds are offered for late arrival or failure to arrive during your booked time slot.

Children

Children must be at least seven to use the spa facilities. Children aged 7-18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

What to wear and bring

Robes and towels are only included on request when booking, for £10 per person. If you have not requested a robe and towel, please bring your own. Swimwear is required to use the spa facilities. Please wear appropriate footwear as the ground in the outdoor spa area is uneven.

Spa hygiene

Please shower before entering the spa. Do not use any hair masks, soaps, oils or fake tanning products before or during your time at the spa. Please ensure that long hair is worn tied-up.

Medical conditions

If you wish to participate in the spa experience and any of the following applies, please consult with your doctor before your visit:

• Had surgery within the last six months.

• Had a deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

• ·Suffer from heart or circulatory problems, high or low blood pressure, migraines, dizziness, or fainting spells.

• Suffer from diabetes or epilepsy.

• Suffered from a condition that affects your body’s ability to react to heat or to perspire.

• Had asthma or any chest condition likely to be aggravated by high temperatures.

• Use drugs that may affect your circulation or your ability to react to heat.

• Been prescribed antihistamines, anticoagulants, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants or tranquillisers.

Pregnancy

Please get the advice of your doctor before booking the spa experience. The NHS recommends avoiding saunas and hot tubs in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Alcohol, drugs and hydration

The Wild Spa is a non-smoking site (including e-cigarettes). We strongly recommend that you drink plenty of fluids during your visit. Any guest under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol will be refused entry with no refund. No glass is to be brought into the spa.

Changing rooms and lockers

Our changing room is enclosed and private, but does have an ‘outdoorsy’ feel to it.

Food and drink

No food or drink (apart from water in a safe container) is to be consumed in the spa area.

Cancellations policy

You’ll need to pay in full when booking a spa experience. We require at least 48 hours’ notice via telephone (01437 732851) if you need to change the date or time of your session or if you wish to cancel and receive a refund. Changes will be subject to availability. Bookings made within 48 hours are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Etiquette

Our spa is relaxed and informal, but we do ask that all spa guests respect others and keep noise to a respectable level. Mobile telephones and electronic devices should be set to silent at all times.

Valuables

We cannot accept responsibility for the safety of your personal belongings (including money and valuables) during your time with us.

Prices and facilities

We reserve the right to raise prices or modify treatments or spa facilities without notice. Should we be unable to fulfil the service booked, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.
